Alumni remember draft, unrest during Vietnam War

Alumni remember draft, unrest during Vietnam War

Students and, in turn, alumni have attended the Rome Center during virtually every major world event, including major conflicts since the Rome Center opened in 1962, like the Vietnam War. Members of the class of ’69–’70 reflect on what it was like to experience the war and the uncertainty of the draft from afar.

Campus Mission and Ministry Program

Campus Mission and Ministry Program

The Rome Center’s Campus Mission and Ministry Program offers a variety of activities that help students connect with their faith and values and reflect on how they can use their gifts to lead lives of purpose. Activities such as the Mass of the Holy Spirit and Community Dinner each semester, weekly priests’ dinner with students, a regular speaker series, and evenings of guided reflections have become staples at the JFRC.
